Leith Conveyor 90-500

The Leith Conveyor 90-500 measures 90′ in length and has a 500mm wide belt working on trough rollers.

This conveyor is ideal for the movement of grain and fertiliser, reaching up to 40′ high and can also outload into trucks.

Operated by a CAT 2.2 ECU diesel engine, the self-propelled machine is simple to operate and has spool valves for belt control, lift, wheel drive and steering.

Complete with lights for working at night, the Leith Conveyor 90-500 has brakes operated by linear actuators and its easy-to-clean hopper ensures there is no grain contamination.

About us

Leith Engineering was officially registered as a manufacturer of agricultural machinery and provider of general repairs in 1980. However, the foundations of the business were laid decades earlier. Wally Leith began building and selling side trailers in 1960, followed by the introduction of the “drop spreader” in 1963. This innovative machine was designed and manufactured to enable the fast and efficient application of gypsum as a soil improver, addressing the practical needs of Australian farmers.

By the mid-1970s, the business had expanded significantly, employing local staff and increasing 
its manufacturing capacity. As demand grew, so did the product range. The original drop spreader was redeveloped into a trailing model, produced in multiple sizes and available with either hydraulic or power take-off (PTO) drive systems.
